The 29-hours countdown sequence planned to commence at 1100 hrs today (Dec 19th) has not been authorized by the Launch Authorisation Board that met this forenoon to review the results of pre-countdown checks.
The revised schedule for launch will be firmed up after ascertaining the cause for the leak, remedial actions and due verifications.

How to reduce Windows 2003/2008 Group Policy Refresh Interval

Group Policy is a great way to deploy settings to users and computers centrally — unless you wind up waiting for the updates. The default interval to update the Group Policy to a computer account is 90 minutes; further, there is an offset of 0-30 minutes. While this schedule is fine for most situations, there may be times when you need to make it shorter for quick updates.
There are various ways to shorten the Group Policy refresh interval. But be careful when you make these changes because it will increase the traffic from domain controllers to computer accounts.
One approach is to have the server computer accounts receive a tighter refresh policy, with the assumption that there are fewer servers than client computers. The refresh interval is defined in Group Policy in the Policies | Administrative Templates | System | Group Policy section in a value called Group Policy Refresh For Computers (Figure A). After the Group Policy Refresh For Computers value is selected, it is represented in minutes that will determine how frequently the computer accounts will try to update the policy.

Finally Malinga has done it again and raised a hope for Mumbai Indians to fight back against Kochi Tuskers who were on fire before Jayawardene fell.

 Sri-Ramnavami is dedicated to the memory of Lord Rama. It occurs on the ninth day (navami). The festival commemorates the birth of Rama who is remembered for his preperous and righteous reign. Ramrajya (the reign of Rama) has become synonymous with a period of peace and prosperity. Mahatma Gandhi also used this term to describe how, according to him, India should be after independence. Ramnavami occurs in the month of March. Celebrations begin with a prayer to the Sun early in the morning. At midday, when Lord Rama is supposed to have been born, a special prayer is performed. In northern India especially, an event that draws popular participation is the Ramnavami procession. The main attraction in this procession is a gaily decorated chariot in which four persons are dressed up as Rama, his brother Laxman, his queen Sita and his disciple Hanuman. The chariot is accompanied by several other persons dressed up in ancient costumes as work by Rama's solders. The procession is a gusty affair with the participants shouting praises echoing the happy days of Rama's reign. Surya - The Sun was recognised as the source of light and heat even in ancient times.
