University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) One of The Largest Agricultural Universities in Asia

University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) is a university in the city of Faisalabad Punjab Pakistan. The most important initial institution of learning was advanced agricultural Punjab Agricultural University and association study, which was founded in 1906 around the Punjab, before separating in 1947.

With independence in 1947, Pakistan was a predominantly agricultural country, and despite subsequent industrialization and development, agriculture remains central to its economy. After independence, the Government of Pakistan designated the National Commissions for food and education to the terms of reference for the review, in all its results, the predominant land and develop measures to realize the full potential of our agricultural resources. The committees made a clarion call for the establishment of an agricultural college that could play a stronger role in promoting research and education in agriculture was established by improving the former Punjab Agricultural University and Research Institute the year 1961-62.
