1. Step 1

   Go to google.com and type in “keyword tool” into the search bar. Then click on the link to google's keyword tool. You will then be directed to the home page for google's keyword tool center.

2. Step 2

   Now simply type in words or phrases in the text box that describes your content or keyword intrest. For example if you blogged about running shoes, you would then type in running shoes into google keyword tool center then click the“get keyword ideas” button.

3. Step 3

   A list of related keyword will be displayed showing information such as search volume and advertisers competition. To view what the CPC (cost per click) is simple go to the “choose column display” drop down box and select the estimated CPC, this will then display the cost per click that a keyword will generate.
