IOB Clerk Vacancy 2012: There are 1500 Clerk vacancies in IOB as per the notification with category-wise vacancies as given below:
SC: 253, ST:50, OBC: 373, UR:824, TOT: 1500
You can find the state-wise category-wise vacancies in the table at right. IOB Eligibility for Clerk Recruitment:
Age Eligibility (as on 01.08.2011): Min 18 yrs, Max 28 yrs. (Relaxations exists as per Govt rule).
Educational Qualification Eligibility: Min. 65% marks (60% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) in Class-XII/equivalent
OR Min. 60% marks in Diploma in Banking (55% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM)
OR Min. 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST/PC/EXSM) in Graduation in any discipline.
Qualifications should be from a recognized Board/University and same should have been acquired (i.e. results declared) on or before 01.08.2011.
Other IOB Clerk Eligibility: 1.0 You should have appeared IBPS CWE 2011 from a centre in that State/UT for which you wish to apply.
2.0 You should be able to read, write and speak official language of that state.
3.0 Should be able to write and speak English fluently.
4.0 Computer Literacy – You should be computer literate or should acquire computer literacy within six months of joining the Bank.
IBPS CWE Cut-Off for IOB Clerks:
For General category:
Min. marks in each subject individually: 24.
Min. Total weighted score (all subjects combined): 120.
For Reserved category:
Min. marks in each subject individually: 21.
Min. Total weighted score (all subjects combined): 105
Selection Process for IOB Clerks: Based on the CWE scores of the applicants received by IOB, it is going to shortlist the candidates for personal interview. The Interview would consist of 50 marks.
Minimum qualifying marks for the Personal Interview would be 22.5 marks (20 marks for Reserved Category). Final merit list for IOB Clerk Recruitment would be prepared based on IBPS CWE mark & Interview.
