Don't you just love Arsene? I mean, he is probably one of the only managers of our time that would stand up and stick it up to the fans, and explain why he is a failure.....and get away with it too. Whilst all the other managers are busy trying to buy so and so in preparation for the new season, Wenger is busy trying not to sell. Well, he does have a good cause for so, considering the effort that he has put in the likes of Fab (who is going back home), Nasri and Clichy trying to make them who they are right now.The latest news on Le professeur indicates that he does acknowledge the failures that have become of his reign. Taking some time off his managerial schedule, Wenger wrote an open letter to a very disgruntled fan trying to explain the reasons for Arsenal's poor run of success, and made it clear that there are loopholes which he is really trying hard to fix, most importantly in defense.
Whether the fan was satisfied or not, remains a mystery, but the fact still is that Arsenal's dealings on the market so far leave a lot to be desired, and I do deeply feel for the fan's sentiments. Giv [...]
