Borussia Dortmund bounced straight back from their midweek Champions League disappointment to see off Augsburg with an emphatic 4-0 win at the Westfalenstadion.
Robert Lewandowski grabbed a hat-trick and Mario Gotze was also on target as the defending Bundesliga champions moved up to fourth in the table with their second win in a row taking them to within six points of the summit.
They were aided by some poor defending from Augsburg, who dropped to the bottom of the table as a result of the heavy defeat.
